UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham Takes Ukraine, Middle East and AI Issues to UN Talks

Burnham's international programme has included discussions with world leaders on the continuing conflict in Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, energy security and the growing impact of artificial intelligence.

One of the major issues on the British agenda is support for Ukraine. Burnham has called for stronger air-defence assistance, including continued international support for systems needed to protect Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.

The Middle East has also been a central issue during the UN meetings.
